Kari was raised on an island near Seattle, WA as one in a family of five active, loving, food enthusiasts. She studied in Oregon for her undergraduate degree, and spent a semester abroad in Aix-en-Provence, France where she cemented her love of all things food! After graduating she worked for a farm-to-school nonprofit in Washington, and later transitioned to working as a cook for an artisan sandwich cafe (yum!). Kari currently lives with her boyfriend, Cooper, in Boston, MA, where she is pursuing a master’s degree in Gastronomy, with a concentration in Food Policy at Boston University.
Kari and Cooper are usually busy working and studying, but manage to squeeze in time for playing and cooking while they explore the northeast!
